Welcome to Pet Haven
Ode – Open Heart, Brave Spirit
In mid-July Pet Haven received a plea from Karen Good of Red Lake Rosie’s Rescue to take in a 12-week old puppy she helped rescue whose ears has been severely burned. This puppy, Ode, is recovering wonderfully and has touched the hearts of so many in the community. She will be up for adoption in about a month. For now, she continues to touch hearts and changes lives. To read her story click here.

Our Mission
Pet Haven Inc. of Minnesota [a 501(c)(3) charitable organization] rescues and re-homes cats and dogs, spays and neuters to reduce overpopulation, promotes responsible guardianship through educational programs, and advocates on behalf of companion animals.
Our Vision
Pet Haven Inc. of Minnesota's vision is to be a rewarding place to volunteer, to find a quality home for each animal, to encourage a community of responsible companion animal guardians, to eliminate the community's need to euthanize dogs and cats as a means of population control, and to encourage a society where animals become more valued.
Our Values
- We are committed to creating a unity of purpose among all Pet Haven volunteers.
- We are committed to conducting ourselves in a professional manner and to treating each other and animals with respect.
- We are committed to Pet Haven's foster home sheltering program and to no-kill companion animal rescue.
- We will keep faith with the public through efficient, cost-effective and compassionate stewardship of resources. We are mindful that our mission is accomplished through the generosity of others.
- We value input from volunteers, donors, members and adopters.
- We will promote and support educational and legislative efforts that forward our mission of rescue and quality foster care, spay/neuter initiatives, and responsible care of companion animals.
